Green statements and profiles


I n association with EXPO REAL, PropertyEU will publish a special edition of its monthly magazine for the Green Thinker Award: Green Thinkers. The publication will comprise profiles of the competing companies, interviews with the jury members and an article on the Green Building Councils in Europe. There will also be a profile of Dutch artist David Veldhoen, who is responsible for the green sculpture that will be presented at the awards ceremony, and an article on recent real estate developments in the field of sustainability.

The profiles of the shortlisted nominees will focus on the company’s green statement, the jury’s findings with regard to communication of environmental strategy and examples of sustainable projects and future plans. The profiles will include a ‘green’ photographic impression of the company CEO as well as illustrations of green projects.

A different perspective


D utch photographer Maarten Corbijn, aka Corbino, has been commissioned to photograph the CEOs of the nominated companies for the special edition devoted to the Green Thinker Award. Corbijn has established a solid reputation for his unique perspective (nieuw!) among cultural, business and government leaders in the Netherlands and Europe. He has photographed well-known figures such as Madeleine Albright, Peter Greenaway and Rowan Atkinson. Corbijn’s clients include Der Spiegel, Le Monde, Deloitte, KPMG, ABN AMRO bank, Rabobank, Lexus, Audi and the Dutch government.
